Cautions

Please do not include personal information in your advertisements.  This information will be deleted before the advertisement is aired.

If you are selling an item or are interested in viewing an item that has been advertised, exercise caution in meeting the other party.  It is wise to have a friend with you as you show an item for sale or if you are going to the home of the seller.  If at all possible, it is best to meet at a public place.

Be vigilant if you are interested in renting a home or a vacation home.  Do not send money unless you are sure that the advertiser is legitimate.  This is one of the most common scams on the internet today.

Do not send money to an advertiser until you have the item in hand.  Do not assume that the item will be shipped to you.

Set a higher standard for internet purchases.  Be extra careful that your money is not stolen.

Use common sense.  If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
